Founder and Teacher

For the past 20 years, I've explored, experienced, and refined the physical and tangible benefits of yoga and meditation. While not naturally flexible, this journey has been about truly feeling and understanding my body from the inside out, and helping others appreciate the same benefits.  Yoga helped me get into the best shape of my life, enjoying summers filled with road cycling and tennis and winters of skiing and skating, all powered by the resilience and strength these practices offer.

There's immense satisfaction in guiding individuals and couples through tailored yoga sessions, witnessing the transformative and healing power of this discipline. Yoga is more than stretching — it's a challenge, yet every movement is designed for success, tailored to meet individual needs.

My yoga  journey began after experiencing back pain from intense hockey games. Instead of succumbing to the belief it was merely aging, I discovered the rejuvenating power of dynamic movement and stretching. While initially unfamiliar with my body’s capabilities, years of dedicated yoga practice unveiled insights and strengths. I've been privileged to learn from many of the world’s leading yoga teachers, and at Fireflow, we hosted renowned instructors like Danny Paradise, Matthew Sweeney, and Mark and Jo-anne Darby.

Drawing from my educational background, having recently completed my MBA, I understand the significance of asking the right questions to get meaningful answers. In the context of yoga, this translates to understanding individual goals and challenges and determining how yoga can be best tailored to achieve them.

Observing the transformation in my students from the start to the end of each session is my greatest joy. At Fireflow, I'm eager to share this journey with you. Let's embark on this transformative experience together.

Mark Darby, one of my favourite teachers, visited Fireflow to lead workshops and trainings.
